Today is the long-awaited opening of the new Walmart store! Located at 3450 Glassford Hill Road, the new Walmart has added 300 jobs to our community and residents. Here at The Stephanie Woods Team  we are excited about the other economic impact this store offers, such as grants from the Walmart Foundation to the CASA Senior Center, Humbolt Unified School District, New Horizons Disability Empowerment Center, Project Friday and Stepping Stones Agencies. The residents of Prescott Valley  have been traveling to Prescott  to the Walmart located on Highway 69 and now will have a more convenient location with retail offerings. On Saturday, Jan. 18, there will be an event called “A Big Family Welcome” from noon to 3 p.m., they will be hosting activities such as face-painting, cupcake decorating and free food samples.
