Pricing your Home

An article written in October 2012 covers the important topic of pricing your home for sale. Some items you may not have considered is pricing your home higher, hoping to get that big sale, is actually hurting you. Your home is going to sit there. You will get showings, maybe. You will get low ball offers, maybe. More than likely you will have to reduce your asking price, probably more than once. That is going to hurt you. Agents and their buyers are going to wonder, 'what's wrong with it'? 'Why isn't is selling?' Its so much better to price it right the first time, and GET IT SOLD!
Pricing a home is a joint venture between you and your Realtor. Many factors can affect the value of a home and the Realtor and seller should work as a team to understand the market based on the seller’s home and the seller’s needs. The end result should be to price the home with a realistic and accurate price to sell the home in today’s market.

Now that you are familiar with the potential pitfalls of pricing your home too high, call The Stephanie Woods Team and (928) 237-4449 and we will meet with you, view your property, set up a listing plan and get your house sold in the shortest amount of time, for the most the market will bear. Call us TODAY - We're ready and eager to work with you!
